Phil Bates; Veteran Folksinger and Broadcaster.

Phil Bates represents a huge part of Newcastle Folk Music History starting from the early days of the Purple Parrot Folk Club in the Dungeon.   As a member of the popular Folk Rock Band “The Rum Culls” Phil has played a big part in bringing Folk Music to the people of Newcastle and the Hunter Valley.

David Wheeler; Singer Songwriter

David is a contemporary artist who performs original songs that reflect the experiences he has encountered in his life.

Matthew Clarke A.K.A. Bicycle Busker

Bicycle Busker delivers a street concert built on songs of social justice and caring for the environment. With voice and acoustic guitar Matthew Clarke will perform songs by social & Environmental activist songwriters Paul Spencer, Jane Scott, Enda Kenny, John Hill, Blythe Pepino, & Bernard Carney.
