Final SessionFest 2026 Program (2)

As in 2025, we will be sharing the Showground space with the monthly markets and poultry auctions on Friday night and Saturday.  This will impact SessionFest all Friday night and Saturday until about 3:00pm but there will be a programme of sessions and workshops at the campground until the rooms and breezeway become available.  We managed quite well last year and anticipate this year will be no different!

With easy access from the M1, the site is a huge area with flat sites for caravans, motor homes & tents with limited powered sites, oodles of unpowered sites, water, hot showers, large undercover area (for inclement weather), plenty of parking, camp kitchen, gas heaters and/or campfires (BYO chair); and it’s kid and pet friendly (dogs must be kept on a leash at all times!)

SessionFest is where you create the event, the atmosphere & the music.  Come and sing, play, recite, yarn, swap, learn, teach and encourage.

Some structured programming is provided including our usual –

• Saturday & Sunday night themed Concerts (see Program);
• Blackboard performance opportunities (see Program);
• Poetry and Yarns sessions (see Program);
• Evening sessions around the fire drums / braziers / gas heaters (depending on fire restrictions);
• Music, Singing and Tune Workshops (see Program).
• Also, soup kitchen & mulled wine Sunday evening only this year; tea/coffee available all weekend! Note:  Please bring your own china mug or write your name on and reuse the paper cup provided, thanks.  

And for the rest of the time, session with old friends and/or make some new ones.

Of course, Session Etiquette applies.

All Camping fees must be booked and paid for prior to 4th June
Powered Sites $30 per night (min 2 nights) Unpowered Sites $20 per night

Note: there are limited powered sites available and first preference will be given to those who have a medical condition and need power.

Most SessonFest activities will take place at the showground venues – Concert room (“The Dungeon”), Kitchen and Breezeway.  The marquee “Beehive” will also be set up as a Session Tent. We are once again permitted to have fire drums / braziers at the campground this year for those all important campfire sessions until late!  YAY!! 😀
