A folk / roots duo specialising in music that tells a story, Scott & Jenny Thomson (‘The Thomsons’) have entertained festival audiences across the Eastern seaboard for over a decade, quietly going about their business, delivering heartfelt ‘songs with a story’, with harmonies and delicate arrangements.  Be prepared to dust off your passport, add a few obscure visas, and meet a cast of characters from obscure corners of the globe that will inspire, provoke and delight.  ‘The Thomsons’ draw their music from a deep well of personal experience and extensive international travel. Scott received the 2024 Adam Lindsay Gordon songwriting award at the recent Penola Acoustic Music Festival in South Australia.
