Morpeth Mid-Week on Tuesday night was a delight. It was an eclectic mix of Blues, Folk, Jazz-inspired tunes and some soulful tunes. The concert began with the uplifting performance by Clyde Street who create interesting and lively arrangements with drums, u-bass, ukulele, keyboards and mouth harp. There were 9 performances in all, and all were enjoyed and well-received.
Most performances on the night included original songs, and it was great to see such a wonderful mix of talent.
The venue worked well, with lots of ventilation, and everyone doing the right thing for Covid safety.
